Sculpting the senses
Finally the day had arrived that world renowned fashion designer Iris Van Herpen exhibited her magical creations in her own homeland the Netherlands. Something I very much looked forward to. It was everything that I thought it would be and more.
Walking into the Iris van Herpen exhibition felt like stepping into an entirely distinct world. One where art, fashion, and imagination intertwine in ways that feel otherworldly. Every piece seemed alive, flowing with movement, texture, and color, as if each garment had its own story to tell.
If you feel like dreaming away or want to be in a state of wonder visit museum The Kunsthal in Rotterdam. The exhibition by Iris Van Herpen; Sculpting The Senses will be shown until 1 march 2026.
For me, as the founder of The Coloryst, it was a vivid reminder of why I celebrate creativity and self-expression. Her work embodies the fearless, boundary-pushing energy that The Coloryst’s hope to bring to every space, every design, and every journey with our community. It’s a world where joy, color, and boldness aren’t just accents. They are the center of everything.
